Colour Matching
Over Forty-five Years Experience
of colour matching samples brought into the shop
- Paint flakes;
- Wallpapers;
- Fabric;
- Tiles;
- Numerous objects - of animal, vegetable or mineral origin.
On the Premises Colour Matching
- Every new colour is given a unique code number which allows
us to repeat the mix.
- Each new colour is one more added to our computerised database,
which contains over 100,000 colours instantly available.
- The colorimetric profile of each colour is stored electronically
and new samples can be compared against these.
- Colours can be matched to satisfy most lighting conditions e.g.
daylight / tungsten / fluorescent lighting and many other forms.
There is no extra charge for colours that are already found to
be on our database. If no satisfactory match can be found
immediately there will be a colour matching charge of £30 + VAT
for each colour specially matched. This price will be added
to the cost of the paint, and will be a once-only charge.
Approximately seven days should be allowed for a special match.
Although colour matching is carried out by eye, for a number of
years we have been using a spectrophotometer
to guarantee accuracy.
On Site Colour Matching
Colour matching can be carried out on a client's own premises.
This may take the form of just one surface to be measured, or a
full colour survey of the whole building. Consultancy rates
will apply, and reduced charges made for colour matching.
Travel expenses and accommodation will be charged at cost.
Further details can be found here: Portable
Spectrophotometer.
